The first application offered for consideration in last week's App From Scratch competition is "QuickFlix," a mobile companion to Netflix.

Their marketing:
Manage your Netflix account.
Read movie reviews.
View movie news.
You're welcome.
Click the link for more images and a full description of this groundbreaking application.
With over 8 million Netflix users out there today, there is a need for mobile access to "the queue." Netflix seems to agree, so on Wednesday October 1st, they opened their API. The QuickFlix application is the first mobile application to deliver Netflix functionality using this new API.
The QuickFlix application allows you to manage your Netflix account, read movie reviews, get your fix of entertainment/movie news, find local threater schedules, and more, all from your mobile device. Even "click-to-map" theaters in your area with integration into Google Maps.
In accordance with the rules of the competition, this application was delivered in under 24 hours with no coding and no compilation. It makes use of data from multiple data sources, and highlights a number of Pyxis Mobile 6.1 features including exploding rows, font control, in-line images, graphical navigation, and multi-platform support.
As I mentioned in the main post, one or more of these applications will be made available for download. What do you think of this. Is this the one you want?

I rarely meet such interesting ideas! Not long ago I found an interesting documentary by accident at one rapidshare search engine ( http://www.filecatch.com/trends/br/13-07-2010.html ) and watched it with interest. You never know where you find and where you lose...
