The next application offered for consideration in last week's App From Scratch competition is "Mobile Casino" a networked, competitive blackjack and slots tournament (for education and entertainment only).
The contest, open to any and all Pyxis Mobile employees, is designed to highlight the power of the Application Studio product, and its ability to deliver an unlimited range of applications and use cases (in under 24 hours) without the need for client or server code development.

The Mobile Casino application allows users to play either blackjack or slots. Their scores are managed by the application, and stored on a central "secure casino server" (SCS). The SCS keeps track of users' winnings and loses and can compare one player's score to others in the community, with the ability to display rankings on the application's "leaderboard."
In accordance with the rules of the competition, this application was delivered in under 24 hours with no coding and no compilation. It makes use of data from a secure SQL database, and highlights a number of Pyxis Mobile 6.1 features including exploding rows, font control, in-line images, graphical navigation, and multi-platform support. also, the designers would like you to know that after the judging was complete here, they ran a competition amongst anyone interested in joining, and had 15 people playing in the app for the honor of becoming the game's first champion.

I always show interest in the competitive blackjack and slots tournaments, i am not a gambler, but playing blackjack and slots is my hobby.
