It's that time of year again. Pyxis Mobile has just completed its second "App for Scratch" competition. The contest, open to any and all Pyxis Mobile employees, is designed to highlight the power of the Application Studio product, and its ability to deliver an unlimited range of applications and use cases without the need for client or server code development.
The objective is simple:
- Use Application Studio, Pyxis Mobile's application design tool, to build an application from scratch over a 24 hour period
The rules are equally as simple:
- be as creative as you can be (any use case will be considered)
- use no custom code (the application must be configured with no code and no compilation within Application Studio)
Team members from professional services, engineering, IT, marketing, product management and sales formed into teams of three to out-design their opponents last Thursday. Their applications were presented on Friday, and what we saw was incredibly impressive.
Over the next few days, we will be presenting, here on the Financial Mobility Blog, the very "non-financial" applications that were designed and deployed by our teams here at Pyxis Mobile. Our goal is to make one or more of these applications available to download, so your feedback on each will help us to select which we share with you.
Remember, as you look at these applications, that they have been built with NO NEW CODE, they have not been custom compiled, and that they run on the same platform and within the same client application that our customers use for their enterprise mobility implementations.
